We’re delighted to share some excellent news from Lea Hall, one of our specialist homes.

Following a recent audit by West Midlands Fire Service, Lea Hall has achieved Compliance 1 – the highest possible fire safety compliance rating. This is an outstanding result and a clear reflection of the team’s professionalism, diligence and unwavering commitment to safety.

Fire safety at this level is never achieved by chance. It requires consistent attention to detail, robust systems, regular training and a shared sense of responsibility across the whole team. At Lea Hall, these standards are embedded into everyday practice – ensuring the people we support live in an environment that is not only comfortable and welcoming, but safe and well managed at all times.

This achievement speaks to a wider culture of support. Fire safety compliance isn’t just about passing an audit; it’s about protecting lives, respecting people’s homes, and doing the right thing even when no one is watching. The Lea Hall team has demonstrated exactly what this looks like in action.

Nicola Parker, Home Manager at Lea Hall, said:

“I couldn’t be prouder of the team. This result reflects the care, professionalism and pride they take in their work every single day. Fire safety is everyone’s responsibility here, and achieving Compliance 1 shows just how seriously the team takes keeping the people we support safe.”

We would like to congratulate and thank every member of the Lea Hall team. This is a fantastic achievement!
