Cookie Policy
This page explains what cookies and similar technologies we use on dignus.group, what each one is for, and how to change your choice at any time.
Nothing optional runs until you agree to it. When you first visit, you are asked to choose, and you can change your mind whenever you like using the Privacy choices button in the corner of every page.
Your choice, and how to change it
We group optional cookies into two purposes, and you can accept or refuse each one:
- Analytics — helps us understand which pages are useful.
- Marketing — lets us measure our advertising and newsletter signups.
Refusing is exactly as easy as accepting: both are a single click on the banner, and neither is pre-selected. If you refuse, nothing in those groups is loaded at all.
To change or withdraw your choice later, click Privacy choices at the bottom of any page. Turning something off stops it from the next page you view onwards. Anything already loaded on the page you are on cannot be recalled, so refresh the page if you want the change to take effect immediately.
Cookies we use without asking
A small number of things are necessary for the site to work, or do not involve storing anything on your device. These do not require consent.
| What | Purpose | Stores anything on your device? |
|---|---|---|
| Your privacy choice | Remembers whether you accepted or refused, so we do not ask you on every page | Yes — a single entry in your browser’s local storage. Necessary, so it is exempt from consent. |
| Plausible Analytics | Counts page views and which links are clicked, so we can see which pages are useful. Self-hosted by our web developer, not shared with any advertising network. | No cookies and no local storage. Because it stores nothing on your device and cannot identify you, it does not require consent and runs whichever choice you make. |
| Forms and security | Keeps enquiry and whistleblowing forms working, and protects against spam and abuse | Yes — short-lived cookies set only when you use a form. Necessary. |
Optional — marketing
These only load if you choose to allow marketing.
| What | Who runs it | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| LinkedIn Insight Tag | LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company | Lets us see whether people who saw our recruitment or service advertising on LinkedIn went on to visit the site. Sets LinkedIn’s own cookies, which LinkedIn may associate with your LinkedIn account if you have one. |
| Mailchimp | Intuit Mailchimp | Powers our newsletter signup, including remembering whether you have already seen or dismissed the signup prompt so we do not keep showing it. |
Optional — analytics
We do not currently run any optional analytics cookies on this website. Our page statistics come from Plausible, described above, which needs no cookies. This section is here because other websites in the Dignus Group family do use additional analytics, and we would list them here if that changed.
Managing cookies in your browser
You can also block or delete cookies through your browser settings, independently of the choices on this site. Every major browser lets you do this, and its help pages explain how. Blocking all cookies may stop parts of the site, such as our enquiry forms, from working properly.
How this relates to our Privacy Notice
This page covers cookies and similar technologies on this website. Our Privacy Notice covers how we handle personal information more broadly, including information you send us through our enquiry and whistleblowing forms.
