Fairway Healthcare and Embark Learning selected Dignus Group as the winner for our innovative and collaborative approach to developing skilled care professionals.
- In less than a year, we have supported the transition of 20 Support Workers into full-time roles within the sector.
- Several of these professionals have already progressed into Team Leader positions, reflecting our shared values of professional growth and continuous development.
This recognition is not only about numbers but about creating sustainable opportunities for individuals to thrive, while raising the overall standard of care across the community.
A Celebration of Learning and Career Journeys
The award was presented at the Celebration of Learning and Career Journeys event, held at the Botanical Gardens.
The day brought together colleagues, clients, carers, and partners to celebrate remarkable achievements in workforce development and lived experience.
Highlights included:
- An inspiring keynote from Baroness Floella Benjamin, a pioneering actor, writer, and campaigner for diversity, inclusion, and social mobility.
- Recognition for outstanding carers, leaders, and clients who embody the values of the sector.
- A powerful speech from Casey, a person supported by Dignus, who shared her lived experience with courage and honesty. Her story reminded us all of the true reason behind the work we do every day.
It was also wonderful to celebrate the success of The Old Post Office team, whose personal and professional achievements reflect the strength of community care at its very best.
